I’m a Bay Area-based journalist. At my current post at GreenBiz, I’m a senior editor and I cover the circular economy — think reuse, resale and packaging. I also co-develop GreenBiz’s social media strategy.

Previously, I was the Surdna Reporting Fellow for YES! Magazine, where I reported on social issues and solutions across beats. I’m most interested in narrative-driven stories about housing, food, race, and equity. And I love reporting for radio. My most recent experience doing that was in 2018 at KLCC, an NPR affiliate station.

Here’s what I’m doing outside of journalism:

  • What I’m reading: Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo
  • What I’m listening to: Steve Lacy’s Gemini Right
  • What I’m learning: How to use Procreate
