Greetings! I’m an Oregon-based freelance reporter with experience covering city government, social issues and equitable economic development. I currently report a couple days per week for my local NPR affiliate station, KLCC 88.1. In 2017, I was an equitable cities fellow at Next City and freelanced as a fact checker for New York Magazine’s website. In 2016, I graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, with a concentration in urban reporting. I also interned at NYMag.com and The Marshall Project, covering the criminal justice system. Before pursuing journalism full-time, I served in public sector roles, as an assistant in a library and as a community relations officer at the transportation authority in Los Angeles, where I grew up.
